Built in 1916, Hotel Catalina is the historic blue and white Victorian landmark that can be seen when entering the harbor. Quietly nestled a few doors from Avalon Bay, it offers all the charm and hospitality of Catalina’s yesteryear yet you will feel right at home with all the modern amenities and conveniences of today.
Take in the harbor views and the magnificent sunrises and sunsets (we provide the coffee, you bring the wine) from one of our large balconies and lull yourself in one of our wicker rocking chairs or relax on a wicker settee. Our garden courtyard offers another perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening. Take a soothing soak in our in-ground Jacuzzi or have a barbecue on the large gas grill. Tables, chairs and lounge chairs add seating comfort for a relaxing time in the courtyard.
Hotel Catalina is the perfect choice for a romantic escape, a family vacation, family reunion, weddings, large groups or a place to come and spend some time with a friend. There are 27 hotel rooms on three floors that vary from Partial Ocean View, Deluxe Mountain, Standard and Terrace Rooms as well as 4 cottages: 2 Family Cottages, 1 Cottage with a full kitchen and a Honeymoon Cottage. A few of our in-room amenities include 32” flat screen TVs with cable/DVD players, WIFI as well as mini size refrigerators and more. In addition to all the in-room features guests are provided with courtesy morning Kona coffee, tea, juice and donuts at 8am each morning in the lobby.
The main entrance and lobby is located at 129 Whittley Avenue, just 2 doors up from the side entrance of Courtyard Garden Suites. Be sure to check our accommodations page to help you choose the perfect room or cottage to suit your needs.
